Since opening in 1982, Delray Medical Center has become a major provider of specialized services for cardiac patients while also providing a broad range of medical, surgical and 24-hour emergency/trauma services for the community. Since May 1991, more than 4,400 patients have been treated here at South Palm Beach County's state-designated Level II trauma center.
