Gina and Lillo Teodosi moved to Boca Raton to open a small and intimate place where they could showcase their love for the restaurant business. We found this beautiful spot in the Royal Palm Place overlooking a Fountain and fell in love with it. Gina works the Dining Room and Lillo is the Chef who works the Kitchen. We only buy the best and freshest ingredients and prepare them in the contemporary style of Italian Cuisine. Lillo cooks dishes from the 20 regions of Italy.
ABOUT CHEF & OWNER:
Chef-Owner Lillo Teodosi trained in contemporary Italian Cuisine and worked in Italy as well as London, England, Paris, France, Cruise Ships in the Mediterranean Seas and moved to the States where he opened the first Trattoria style restaurant in the city of Chicago, Illinois. In 1988 opened Topo Gigio Ristorante where he received many accolades from Tv and media alike, WLS Channel 7 James Ward called Topo Gigio the Top Italian Restaurant in Chicago, won the Gold Plate Award from the IFMA 18 years running and in 2003 was inducted in The Accademia della Cucina Italiana a prestigious achievements from an organization formed By the Italian Government that recognizes Italian Restaurants abroad that serves dishes in the Traditional Italian way.
Farrotto al Tartufo Nero di Norcia….Farro is an Old Grain like Spelt and in this preparation is cooked Risotto style with Black Truffles from Umbria, Wild Mushrooms and Parmigiano Reggiano.
