Remix Hotel Atlanta and Atlantis Music Festival

Remix Hotel Atlanta and Atlantis Music Festival Join Forces

Two Premier Music Industry Events to Offer Joint Programming and Entry

Atlantis Music Conference & Festival and Remix Hotel Atlanta 2008 have teamed up with Fort Lauderdale Atlantis Hotel and Bahamas Atlantis Hotel on Grand Bahamas to produce a stellar schedule of performances, programming, and panels in Atlanta September 18-20, 2008. With Remix Hotel Atlanta stationed at the SAE Institute of Technology (215 Peachtree St NE Atlanta, GA 30303) and Atlantis situated at the CW Midtown Music Complex (1374 W. Peachtree Atlanta, GA 30309), this unique partnership offers four days of the latest in production techniques and music technology as well as cutting-edge performances, networking, and industry know-how.

In addition, paying for All Access registration to Remix Hotel will guarantees free entry to the Atlantis Music Festival and vice versa. Transportation will be provided for attendees through a free shuttle service to and from each venue. This enables Atlantis's 250-plus showcasing acts and Remix Hotel's music-production audience to experience each event's full programming.

Remix Hotel, the performance event and traveling music production produced by Remix Magazine, is truly the only forum of its kind. Now in its sixth year, Remix Hotel brings together artists, producers, top music industry leaders, decision makers and the dynamic audience that supports them all in various cities across the nation. This three-day event combines interactive clinics, workshops, technology showcases and product demos with panels featuring leading producers and engineers, as well as performances by some of the world’s top electronic and hip-hop artists.

The Atlantis Music Festival and Conference is one of the country's best locations for discovering new music talent and is designed to bring industry, artists, media and fans together so that real opportunities can be created in this ever-changing music business environment. Atlantis is the only event that puts its primary focuses on independent artists, with almost 90% of the festival's performances showcasing unsigned talent. Atlantis provides supreme access to opportunity and music education through demo critiques, industry panels and A&R exposure. Special Atlantis Programs like the Music Industry Face Off and Beatin Up Da Block producer battle give aspiring artists the chance to showcase their work in an industry-rich environment.

"We are extremely excited to be partnering with Remix Hotel for this year’s installment of Atlantis," says Mark Willis, founder of the Atlantis Music Festival. "During our 11 year history, we have seen the conference landscape change dramatically and feel that our partnership with Remix brings our artists and attendees access to music technology and expertise that no other event in the country can offer. With the combination of our networking parties, industry panels, and showcases and Remix Hotel's technology panels, nighttime content and, master classes we are offering a 360-degree view of everything independent and aspiring artists need to hone their craft and take the next step in their music careers."

"Atlantis has not only created an indelible presence in the Atlanta Music Community but also an exciting forum for up-and-coming artists," says Joanne Zola, group publisher of Mix, Remix and Electronic Musician magazines. "By partnering with Atlantis, we are able to offer programming to new audiences including musicians and producers outside the urban and electronic talent base. With Atlantis, we feel we have created a true must-attend event."
