President of Hirsch Architects, Inc. (HAI),
KENNETH J. HIRSCH, graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1966. He then studied Vision to Action Planning at Search Institute in Minneapolis, MN, laying the groundwork for his extensive career in architecture.
Hirsch has been a member of many boards, including the American Institute of Architects (Palm Beach Chapter Board of Directors) and the Gold Coast Builders Association. He has designed and facilitated visioning processes for communities, organizations, and religious institutions throughout the United States. These include the cities of Delray Beach and Boca Raton, as well as the American Institute of Architects and Florida Atlantic University Alumni Association.
Hirsch's impact on the architectural beauty of Boca Raton is reflected in residential designs within The Sanctuary, Boca Grove Plantation, Les Jardins, Woodfield Hunt Club, and St. Andrews Country Club. He is especially known for his country club designs and entry statements to residential communities, including The Polo Club, Breakers West Tennis Club, Boca Woods Golf Club, and Boca Grove Plantation Golf Club.
Hirsch has designed more than 100 homes in Frenchman’s Creek in Jupiter, Florida, as well as residences in The Beach Club and St. Andrews Country Club.
Along with private residences and select commercial projects, Hirsch entered the 21st century with an innovative vision for growth. He combines visioning, facilities planning, architecture, and construction administration into a unified process.
His designs focus on the core elements of great architecture: aesthetics, function, technology, and economics. According to Hirsch, the architect orchestrates solutions in alignment with the client’s vision.
"Architecture with Vision" is HAI’s unique methodology. This "visioning" process places people first, then creates environments that reflect their goals, passions, and purpose. By involving all stakeholders, the final result becomes both empowering and comprehensive.
Hirsch is truly an architect with vision, capable of transforming ideas into meaningful architectural and urban design solutions.
