The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is proud to announce the inaugural Gold Coast FCA Celebrity Golf and Tennis tournament to be held on Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th at the beautiful Ocean Breeze Golf and Country Club in Boca Raton.
The tournament, hosted by legendary collegiate football coach, FAU’s Howard Schnellenberger, will include local and national sports legends, athletes and coaches from the field of sports.
“We created this event as an outlet to create awareness of the sports ministry outreach and to raise funds to support programs and activities associated with the local Gold Coast FCA chapter headquartered on the campus of FAU in Boca Raton,” said Gold Coast FCA Leadership Board Director Carl Foster.
This inaugural two-day event is jam packed with fun-filled events including a gala dinner with live entertainment; golf and tennis clinics with USPTA and PGA Pros; featured keynote Christian athlete speakers and an impressive sports memorabilia live and silent auction including: Manning Fantasy Football Camp in New Orleans; VIP trip to Kentucky Derby; Michael Jordan Basketball Camp; Fighter Pilot Package for Two; Trip to 2008 U.S. Open Golf Championships in San Diego; Formula One Racing at Mario Andretti Racing School in Las Vegas; 2008 Tony Awards in NY, a Meet and Greet with David Beckham in Los Angeles; an autographed Heisman Winner, Tim Tebow football, Florida Gators Helmet along with scores of additional sports and entertainment memorabilia.
Costs for individual golfers is a $350 per person donation; $150 per person for the tennis pro-am and $50 per person to attend the Thursday night gala. Celebrity foursomes start at $1,500.
