MARRIAGE HELP BOOK

Tim Kellis has found the answer to the marriage problem, he states, and it is outlined in his book “Equality: The Quest for the Happy Marriage,” a 440-page book that is more a history book than a self-help format. It follows leaders throughout history and issues they had with relationships either positively or negatively, including everyone from Martin Luther King Jr. to Hitler. It also follows the techniques and theories created by psychologists throughout time with a focus on Carl Jung but then he goes beyond to add a few new theories of his own. He says that unlike traditional psychology, a more analytical and scientific evaluation of the philosophy in human relationships we call happiness is what is required.

This book was created out of a cathartic need after the breakup of his relationship with the woman he thought he would spend the rest of his life with. From that experience, he knew he had to find answers and spent 10 months reading over 100 books to that end. The result was not only the “Happy Marriages” book and a corresponding press junket to announce to the world that he had finally found a solution, but also a series of seminars.

He will be offering 12 lucky couples the chance to be a part of his weekly relationship seminars for free. Each session will last between and hour and an hour ½. One of the focuses of the seminars will be to bring couples together by understanding the fundamental differences between men and women and compensating for them. “Men are more logical,” said Kellis, “Women are more emotional.”

Before becoming a relationship guru, Kellis was a semiconductor expert for one of the biggest firms on Wall Street, a position which served as a perfect training ground for observing happy and not so happy relationships.
