BOCA RATON, FL --- The new concert series sponsored by Royal Palm Place™ and the City of Boca Raton--- “LIVE FROM DOWNTOWN….IT’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT!”--- continues on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 with FREE exciting entertainment featuring the ever-popular and exciting 8-member musical group, THE CORAL REEF REVUE, playing a tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The event takes place in downtown Boca Raton right next to the big monument statue of Addison Mizner, located in the Royal Palm Place™ south parking lot at the intersection of South Federal Highway and South Mizner Boulevard. The event also includes free surprise gifts and special giveaways donated by the merchants of Royal Palm Place.
Future concerts planned for every third Wednesday (mostly) of each month are held at the Monument Piazza for the purpose of providing more activities to the downtown area for the enjoyment of the entire family. Each month will feature stage entertainment, along with related activities and Royal Palm Place™ merchant participation. Free gifts and drawings will add to the fun and excitement on each concert night. Dates and entertainment that have been planned include April 18, 2007 featuring the RAYE STEVENS BAND, May 16, 2007 - APPLAUSE with JOEL LAWRENCE, June 13, 2007 - FABULOUS FABULONS, July 18, 2007 August 15, 2007 September 19, 2007 October 24, 2007 November 28, 2007 showcases local school musical groups, and December 12, 2007.
Bring along a chair for all concerts, relax and enjoy the best of entertainment under the stars for the entire family. All concerts are scheduled for 7:00 pm, rain or shine, and admission to all city-sponsored concerts is free. For your convenience, limited seating is available and food may be purchased. In addition, several casual and fine dining establishments are in close proximity to the stage area and many merchants within the plaza may remain open for browsing.
Royal Palm Place™ is located on South Federal Highway in Boca Raton, just south of Palmetto Park Road.
